About Us

Equicentric started life in 2003, as a result of a group of enthusiastic horse riders coming together to provide good quality horse and rider kit at affordable prices, in a location which would encourage people to come together and exchange horsey information and experiences. When we realised The Old Bishop’s Palace was available we couldn’t have been more delighted as it fitted our vision perfectly.

All of the team at Equicentric are experienced horse people, and between us we cover most disciplines (except maybe vaulting!). We own our own horses and all of this, combined with 10 years of our loyal customers feedback, means we are in a good position to know what products really work, and which brands are worth paying for.

We like to offer a wide range of prices, but we only stock good quality. Most of our brands we have been stocking since the day we opened 10 years ago.
Our move onto the internet is a little late in coming, and our offering will grow over time. We will not compromise our commitment to quality, and we plan to offer the same great level of service with our website.
